The File Rotatory Storage

Transforming the challenge, to store a large number of Index Files in a limited space, into a design opportunity, File Rotatory Column has been designed. 

Analyzing the geometry of index-files and understanding that a circular sector is the most efficient geometry to stack them, the rotatory mechanism has been incorporated to make the files accessible from one side. This 30-inch diameter unit offers abundant storage in a small area and saves more than 50% of the linear floor space typically required to store the same number of files. 

Apart from the space efficiency, this storage system offers its users an interesting operating file retrieval pattern which also takes away the tiresome essence of typical accounts office.
