THE FILE WHEEL

This dynamic art installation, an industrial sculpture, serves a utility of file storage. Designed in the context of an accounts office, where there's a greater need to add some dynamism to the user-space interaction to counter the mundane routine of accounts, this installation intuitively persuades the users to interact with itself. Each of the 10-carts of this dynamic assembly has been allocated to each of the 10 users of the accounts office. This provides adobe to their daily-reference files and at the same time, the file retrieval process acts as a stress buster for the accountants through their prolonged mundane routine. Inspired from Ferris Wheel, the installation imparts an industrial character to space which in turn stimulates a workaholic emotion in the environment.
